USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS: Can be used in the morning and/or evening. During the day, follow with a moisturizer containing SPF 50+. ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Azelaic Acid. A multifunctional ingredient for acne and hyperpigmentation treatment with multiple skin benefits: it eliminates acne-causing bacteria, prevents keratinization, inhibits tyrosinase and provides comedolytic action. At a high concentration (10%), it helps clear acne, unclog pores, smooth uneven skin texture and brighten hyperpigmentation. According to approved scientific studies, 20% azelaic acid is equivalent to 4% hydroquinone (a prescription dermatological ingredient used to treat hyperpigmentation; hydroquinone is prohibited as a cosmetic ingredient in Europe).
Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate. A derivative of azelaic acid combined with glycine groups, which reduces sebum production and inhibits tyrosinase. Glycine’s hygroscopic properties also provide hydration. At 3%, it brightens and moisturizes the skin.
Alpha-Arbutin. A hydroquinone derivative and one of the most powerful tyrosinase inhibitors, reducing melanin production. At 2%, it brightens the skin, evens tone and lightens dark spots.
Hexylresorcinol. An innovative brightening agent that reduces melanin synthesis by acting at multiple stages of melanogenesis. At 1%, it lightens hyperpigmentation spots and provides additional brightening and antimicrobial benefits, making it ideal in post-acne scar care.
